Something Different

Maybe you're thinking, “Well, is there anything good in this God-forsaken world?” And, I always say something like whining about all the evil that men do. I guess, there is something better, to make our world a little brighter, cheerful, and livelier. Although you might have guessed that I love the Scriptures and share the Word like a Christian friend, I am also fond of technology. Technology has always been my amazement and wonder. I tune in to some news from the wires, and eagerly waits for something different, something that man can do to make this world a better place.

Nowadays, there are new technology being developed for the sole purpose of making it “greener,” safer source of energy. Like that fantasy movie Spiderman wherein Doc Ock is trying to achieve a fusion reaction like a perpetual sun providing cheap source of electricity for the whole of mankind. It may be something from a sci-fi movie, but to my astonishment, scientists, engineers, even sports enthusiasts are finding ways to develop a system, or a fancy contraption that will provide renewable, and safe electricity besides from digging up some oil that will run out in the near future (And who knows what effects of it may bring to our lonely planet).

Some are taking the energy from the light of the sun and reflect it as for indoor lighting ; some harness the light directly from the sun and convert it to electricity solar; some from the wind taking the concept of kites.
