Blessing

I often wonder why people nowadays have a hard time to believe in God. They do every unimaginable things just to stay alive. But, often if you ask them if they are happy; they will say no. These people are not poor; they have means to get by and live a fuller life. You can see they have mansions, cars, everything money can buy, and yet they are lonely. But, often I see poor, impoverished people who have only instant noodles to eat for the whole day, are actually content and happy. This led me to conclude that money will never make a person's life happy.

“For what shall a man be profited, if he shall GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds.” Matt 16:26-27
“Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself(God) hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.” Heb 13:5

In these verses, God assured those who are financially challenged to have faith in Him; for those who trust in the Lord will never be forsaken and will never fail.
