I did a picture slide show of bomb attacks, riots, rallies and suicide bombings using BBC pic archives, but unfortunately it has copyrights. So, I made a video on my own, edited it. Actually, the result is remarkably, seriously ridiculous; though my intention was good and fun.

This is good news for poor countries such as the Philippines who rely on imported oil. These kind of news should never go unnoticed because it do not only help the economy but also the environment. Moreover, the Philippines is rich in coconuts by nature, for you can see these trees sprouting everywhere and go untapped by its resources. For me, it is a breakthrough in science. I give applause to Mr. Horn for his work, and thank God for His wisdom.

The New York Times reports that schools are abandoning their laptops-for-students programs. It turns out that the expense of providing laptops, expense of repairing laptops, difficulties of school network management, and discipline problems stemming from pornography, cheating, and cracking more than outweighed the educational benefits. Indeed, a number of schools have concluded that far from improving student achievement, laptops either had no effect or actively hindered academic performance. Apparently, politicians embracing technology as a quick fix for social problems doesn't always work.

It is the sign of the times. Instead of being a better person, technology is making people immoral, lovers of flesh, pleasures of this world, we become aware of good and evil, when Adam brought mankind to its fall, evil made its way to our hearts and minds, feeding us everyday of videos, pictures, words that bombard our eyes and become who we are now. We read fallacies, blasphemies, even mocking the Son of God without flinching. Our conscience has ran dry. Our anemic spirits have blinded the truth and we curse, selfish, lovers of self. We imitate people on the internet who do not even believe in righteousness and holiness, and above all charity.

2 timothy 3:1-9
it reads:

Remember that there will be difficult times in the last days. People will be selfish, greedy, boastful and conceited; they will be insulting, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and irreligious; they will be unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent, and fierce; they will hate the good; they will be treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride; they will love pleasure rather than God; they will hold to the outward for of our religion, but reject its real power. Keep away from such people. Some of them go into people's houses and gain control over weak women who are burdened by the guilt of their sins and driven by all kinds of desires, women who are always trying to learn but who can never come to know the truth. As Jannes and Jambres were opposed to Moses, so also these people are opposed to the truth- people whose minds do not function and who are failures in the faith. But they will not get very far, because everyone will see how stupid they are. That is just what happened to Jannes and Jambres.
