Conflicts

It was raining almost all day, and I am enjoying the cool weather. On the other part of the country is another story. The reason for the rainy weather here in Manila is because there is a typhoon leaving the country tomorrow Monday. As I was reading the news and following on the trail of the typhoon, people died because of this nature's fury. Just weeks ago, more than a thousand people died and that is hurting. But, there is something to be glad about and that is the kindness of people not only here but around the world. People they never met or knew, but still lent a helping hand by giving aid to our poor country. I may never know the reason, but in everything there is a purpose. Yet, a part of me is glad that it did happen because it only proves that God does not permit unfaithfulness, disgust, hate of unbelieving and evil people. In the old testament, God did not spare the lives of men, women and children even livestock because of their pagan ways. Offering prayers to wood and stone and they call themselves children of God? Or, Christians? Who are they and what are they doing? Who would even care about a few people drowning to those who deserve it? People has ignored God's advice and they do not pay attention to his teachings about true worship, giving, love and they expect themselves to be saved? They are just cheating God! They are cheaters, human traffickers, corrupt, and lawless who only thinks about themselves. They are content on satisfying their own stomachs and care less about unfortunate people. I hope God is laughing now.
